Brno is the Czech Republic second city and one of Central Europe densest technology hubs, often called the Czech Silicon Valley. In early 2025 alone, Brno-region security firms raised close to EUR 40 million. The national cyber regulator, NUKIB, is itself headquartered in Brno.

The local advantage is talent and proximity. Almost 68,000 students study at Masaryk University (around 35,000 students), the Brno University of Technology (around 21,500), and other institutions, feeding a deep, English-fluent engineering workforce. CEITEC anchors world-class research in advanced materials, nanotechnology, and life sciences, while precision engineering and electron microscopy (Thermo Fisher Scientific and Tescan) keep Brno on the industrial map. Vienna and Bratislava are each about 90 minutes away.

For Brno businesses, the work that pays back fastest is document-heavy back-office processing, after-hours customer service, and multi-system workflow automation, all under EU and Czech compliance.
