All of that knowledge work creates relentless administrative drag. Finance hubs reconcile transactions and refresh client due-diligence files by hand. Pharma teams move batch records, validation packs, and pharmacovigilance reports through manual review. SSC teams answer the same multilingual queries thousands of times a week. Automotive R&D groups at Bosch and Continental triage engineering documentation that pulls scarce specialists off the actual design work.

Budapest firms putting AI to work on transaction reconciliation, client-due-diligence refresh, document-heavy pharma and back-office flows, and multilingual customer operations are pulling ahead of peers still doing it by hand. The talent base, strong STEM graduates from BME, ELTE, and Corvinus plus a deep multilingual workforce, makes Budapest one of the highest-leverage CEE metros to deploy production AI, and the NAIH's early AI enforcement means the firms that build governance in from day one move fastest.
